According to Skysports Ipswich are favorites to land Leicester striker DJ Campbell.
Campbell has enjoyed two very successful loan spells with Blackpool Fc and played an integral part in Blackpool gaining promotion to Premier League.
Campbell wanted to make his move to Blackpool permanent but they have been reluctant to pay the Foxes £2m demand for the striker.
Now Ipswich boss Roy Keane has identified the striker as a potential transfer target and is willing to match his £2m price tag.
Meanwhile Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has agreed to join Hull City, and Campbell now may well stay at the Foxes to see what the new manger plans are.
