Ramires tracked by Manchester City

Manchester City have opened talks with Portugese side Benfica over the transfer of Brazilian International Ramires.

The 23-year old Brazilian signed for 5 million pounds with Benfica last summer from Cruizero.

Ramires has a 30 million pound buy-out clause in his contract but City hope a bid in the region of 22 million pound will be sufficient to prize the midfielder from Benfica.
